In August 2008 I was diagnosed with a melanoma of the lower back.
The diagnosis, subsequently confirmed by a pathology report, was that it was a malignant “evolving spreading melanoma”. Following surgery a further pathology report advised that the surgery was successful with “No Residual Melanoma In-Situ Identified”.
At the time I was only concerned with getting well and did not consider insurance. It was only at a later time during a routine discussion with my insurance agent, Lindy Walker from Alan Jones Insurance Agencies, was it brought to my attention that this event may in fact be subject to an insurance claim.
Due to the excellent advice and genuine care from Lindy and the staff at Alan Jones, a successful insurance claim was lodged and the resulting payout not only helped to take care of the various expenses but also assisted tremendously with my emotional wellbeing and state of mind.
We will always be grateful to Lindy and her team for the work they put in to our claim and although hope not to go through the same trauma again in the future know that, if we do, Alan Jones Insurance Agencies will be right there supporting us to the best of their ability.
